Version: Shutterfly Studio 1.1
"Super friendly, fast, a good update!"
Pros: I used Studio 1.0, but the 1.1 release is a big step up. First of all - it's fast. You can scroll through a huge set of thumbnails (I have more than 1000 in some folders) REALLY fast. Most apps can't do this. The search tools are neat too - kind of like an advanced query system but presented in a simple interface.
The new picture compare tool is very cool - haven't seen anything quite like it out there. If you're trying to pick the best photo from a bunch of pix, you just select them and then quickly do a series of head-to-head comparisons. What's neat is that you can choose to sync up the zoom between two photos to get detail on the part of the picture that interests you. You can really see which one had the best focus, the right facial expression.
Batch renaming is sweet and offers lots of options. And you can also batch update time/date - which is a big lifesaver if you lose battery/camera settings or are travelling.
They made a bunch of other nice changes too like the new filmstrip and the bigger edit view.
It's definitely worth a try!
Cons: They have most of the core editing tools you want for quick edit jobs, but I'd like to see more options. Also, the main interface is very clean, but some of the best controls can be hard to find. Also, the dates view is good but I think the calendar could be laid out a little better.

Version: Shutterfly Studio 1.1
"Go download Studio 1.5 from Shutterfly website!"
Pros: If you're a shutterfly user, it's much easier to organize, edit, upload, order pictures using Studio than doing everything online. It's a far better end to end solution than any other web photo services like snapfish and ofoto...
Cons: Edit functionalities is somewhat limited...the newest version has many more editing tools than this Studio 1.1... goto shutterfly dot com to download the latest version =)

Version: Shutterfly Studio 1.1
Pros: Looked very good for anyone just wanting to manage their photos....appeared easy to use.......
Cons: ...however...it did warn me it needed mucho space to run and I had "insufficient". Being a computer geriatric I tried but it soon froze my laptop! Even though I can download and run video games etc without any trouble. I'll look for something a little less space intensive.
