Shredder is a pure Cocoa application for shredding files, folders, free disk space and web browser cookies and history. Files are overwritten 24 times by alternating 0s, 1s and psuedorandom data and then deleted. This technique is based on the standard outlined in US Department of Defense Manual 5220.22 M. All features FREE other than shredding folders or free disk space.
