From ServersCheck :

ServersCheck is a tool for monitoring, reporting, and alerting on network and systems availability. It can monitor any TCP Port (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, NNTP, POP3, SMTP, VNC, DNS), check ODBC, Oracle, MySQL databases, trap SNMP values, verify content served from a Web server. ServersCheck can check free disk space, free memory, running services, and processes on both Windows and Linux based systems. In addition, it also can monitor environmental devices like temperature, humidity, flooding, and power failure. Alerting can be done via e-mail, MSN or network message. It runs as a local service and is administrated through a browser interface by connecting to the built-in Web server.

In version 5.10.1, Monitoring Service includes new internal watchers to detect and act on run-away components, checks no longer running, graphs no longer being refreshed. Internal mail server option is updated to fix an issue of incorrect date formatting on non-English based installations of Windows.
