From Perception :Secura Backup Professional is powerful professional backup software that specializes in 128 bit secure backups to local drives, network paths, FTP sites, CD/DVDs, and even e-mail addresses. Using Blowfish encryption with a 128 bit key Secura Backup achieves the same level of security that banks use for their online services. Secure backups are a requirement in any profession that involves sensitive or classified data. Secura Backup offers scheduling features which are completely customizable and allow full automation of backups.
A Windows NT/2K/XP/2003/Vista service is included which will perform your scheduled backups if you aren't logged in or if Secura Backup isn't running. The Shadow Copy feature will back up files that are in use or locked by other programs including Outlook PST files, Exchange files, and database files like MySQL/MSSQL.
Version 2.3 is a bug fixing release.

"Decent look. "Utility wise" EXCELLENT"
Pros: Local and Network backups can be taken accurately and comfortably. Schedule backup (daily, weekly, etc...)is also possible. Very user friendly software.

Pros: It's well thought out and simple to use.
Cons: If it worked, I'd give this a 5 star rating. I downloaded the home version and installed the trial and it seemed to work great. Then I registered which caused problems upon entering the registration key. Then I tried the Pro version which worked fine until I tried to recover files from the archive and it told me the archive was corrupted. So, the software is well thought out I thought but it was unreliable and therefore ultimately unusable. The vendor told me that no one else had the troubles I had experienced. The vendor was helpful but the result is I'm not using it anymore and am looking for something else. I sent debugging info back to the vendor but the impression I get is that the developers don't spend sufficient effort on QA.

Pros: I never realized how important it was to save and back up my data until I lost it a few times... Man does that get your goat or what! Important things - all gone - most of which cannot be duplicated.
After having enough of that, I thought it time to put those problems to an end. Secura works great! Im so pleased with it I ended up buying the program. I tried others and wasn't happy with the results. I only have so much patience for downloading and testing - so when I found this, I stopped and kept it.
I like the interface and the ease of use. Nothing hard to figure out and the data is well preserved.
