Publisher's description
From AutoBAUP :Second Backup is an easy-to-use file backup and sync tool, it can archive multiple versions backed up copies for different time (for example, the first copy for Monday is 'Backup_1', the second copy for Tuesday is 'Backup_2'). Automatically backup your important data (includes opening/using files and folders) to external hard drive, USB disk, network, and other storage device. Intuitive interface makes it easy to use, simply tell it which file or folder to backup, where and when to archive them, then it works reliably in the background and uses very little system resources. The backup task can be directed only copy the new or modified files, it monitors the source files and automatically backups the new or changed file to the destination. Automatic scheduling includes specific days of the week, days of the month, hours of the day, or any desired time intervals. E-mail notification lets you know the file backup status anytime and anywhere.

Version: Second Backup Free Edition 9.8.15
"Does not show how to backup to external drive"
Pros: Not able to use it yet
Cons: The Help facility does not include "How to backup to external drive."
Summary: Dear team,
I need to back up to an external WD My Book disk. SecondBackups can only be done to a nominated second folder on the same drive (not externally). Or so it seems.
If this is incorrect, then it would be nice to see where it ... read more >> -

Version: Second Backup Free Edition 9.8.15
"Wish it did incremental & differential on free version"
Pros: But they need something to hold out to charge you for the best feature of backing up. I'm in search of one that will offer both features for free. hisroyalness@hotmail.com if you know some good ones. The old pkzip used to be great for that work.
Cons: Looking for all I can get for free. This one is nice as is. If I'm going to buy one then I'll probably search out the latest from one of those "big" names.

Version: Second Backup Free Edition 9.8.15
"IT DOESN'T WORK AUTOMATICALLY."
Pros: If, for instance, the backup is scheduled every day at 9:00 AM and, for any reason, your computer is switched on at 11:00 AM, the application does not make up for the scheduled backup and the backup for that day will be skipped and missing.
Cons: Just get your act together: the only precondition purpose of having an automatic backup software is to make the user 100% safe and sure that the scheduled task is always performed, otherwise a manual backup software is more than enough.
Summary: If the user must manually intervene to execute a missed backup, can you tell me where the advantage of using this so-called "automatic" backup software is?!
Therefore, I am wondering how come you they for the exorbitant sum of 35 USD f... read more >> - See all 11 user reviews Write review
