Version: SeaMonkey 1.1.15
"Old Netscape with a cute name"
Pros: Pages build almost instantly; I tried eBay, Apple, W'Post & MSN simultaneously and all came up instantly. If you used Netscape then you'll feel right at home, the Mail interface is efficient too. Has Tabs too which is essential. Also has Addons.
Cons: Importing bookmarks seems problematic. I haven't found out how to do that yet and that's a deal breaker right there if I can't import them. It doesn't have an AddOn like Foxmarks either so I can't get my bookmarks that way.
Summary: Using SeaMonkey takes me back a few years as mentioned above to the old Netscape days. It's super fast and if you have a dial-up service or you're on the move I think it would be invaluable. I can't see myself using it on my Mac at home though - n... read more >>

Version: SeaMonkey 1.1.15

Pros: Fast browsing. Very good integration between email and browser (you can open an email link in a new tab.
Cons: SeaMonkey 1.1.15 does not use the latest Gecko rendering engine and JavaScript. The good thing is that the 2.0 SeaMonkey release will update both Gecko and Javascript to the latest verions.
Summary: If you love Firefox, but wished it included an email client, or have found FireFox's interface 'too dumbed down and IE like" give SeaMonkey a try. If you are new to SeaMonkey, you might want to wait for the 2.0 SeaMonkey release which is due out sh... read more >>
