this seems to work well , im only using the free trial version which doent seem to expire but am still unsure if it will stop working after so long it doenst say to be honest.

As other users noted, a very large file gets created. But, more importantly, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY SOUND! There is no mention of sound concern anywhere on the site or the included documentation, and, trying to communicate with them sends a Maeler-Daemon response. In the spirit of fairness, this app should be called Soundless Screen Movie Recorder to help folks save time. It does, however, work as far as recording images goes, if you don't mind spending some time with it and accepting the resulting low quality images. -

In trying to make small fixed movies for training, this seems to make great quality movies. The only drawback is that I can't choose the cursor that shows; a crosshair is the only option. -

since tiger and QT7, the program fails.
great program, otherwise. Easy way to grab any animated (or not!) motion on the screen. Sizable window lets you capture the action to QT for as long as you like, it seems. I didn't trt to use it for long movie capture, but an animation on a webpage was captured (without sound).
I would love to be able to grab a video window from any app, and also capture the sound to a QT movie.
This program goes part way there.

As long as you keep the frame-rate low, and the recording region small, it works OK. And you must wait for the file to be written after stopping recording. -
