Why not hang a calendar on your desktop? Screen Calendar is a basic scheduling application that allows you to enter daily or reoccurring events to help you get organized. The program places a semitransparent calendar image on your desktop screen; click a date to enter appointments or other reminders. While the features in Screen Calendar are common to most scheduling programs, not all work smoothly. For example, once the calendar is set up on your desktop, it won't disappear when you close the application. To remove the image, we had to tweak the PC's screen settings. Screen Calendar should be able to play a range of media files as audio reminders. At the time of one scheduled event, however, we received an error message regarding our MP3 file, rather than an audio reminder. Screen Calendar is a straightforward program that with a few improvements and feature additions, could compete with other scheduling applications on the market.

Pros
At first, I like new feature of SC - iCal compatibility - now I add events with some clicks, I have only to subscribe for an iCalendar and its events list is always on my desktop.<p>I like SC's combination of desktop calendar, task scheduler and wallpaper manager.<p>I love this calendar for the fact that it can look as I want - its appearance is fully customizable.<p>Notes can be read easily immediately on the desktop or like hints - that's what I like most of all.
Cons
Sometimes I have troubles with icons arrangement cause program arranges them not like I do. But all in all I like this program

A simple, customizeable desktop calendar. <p> <p>I love being able to set it in full screen mode as a transparent calendar over my existing wallpaper. <p> <p>You can set holidays, special days, and normal appointments. <p> <p>All events are visible on the calendar. <p> <p>I also love the fact that I can go in and customize everything from fonts to borders and spacing. <p> <p>LOVE IT!

I don't have any beef with it whatsoever. It's just what I need.

Pros
As a Senior Citizen, subject to Senio Moment of Forgetfulness, the Screen Calendar helps me a lot on remembering all my appoints and things to do, right in front of my eyes, without looking for it. I hightly recommend it for Seniors.
Cons
The only thing, I found hard is setting up an appointment for all day. It takes 2 to 3 steps to set it.

- it does what it says. <p>- the intergration of calendar with wallpaper is nice. <p>- does not use lots of memory <p>- customizable features <p>- no limitations?
Cons
- a few annoying bugs. unable to edit reminders, reminders did not appear as it should be. <p>- i'm praying it doesn't clash my computer. (i'm using WinXP.SP2 for the record) <p>- overall its okay for me.
