From ScanDBX :ScanDBX is a fully automatic tool designed to repair damaged Outlook Express files and installations in place, without requiring you to understand where or how Outlook Express stores its data. A premature termination of Outlook Express, can corrupt or damage your valuable email files or other information. These damaged files can prevent access to email and attachments. Microsoft Certified Application and MSFT Certified Partner.
Version 2.14 improves connection/account scanner, better repairs of Address Book, changed COM reregistration to deal IE7 problems with antiviruses, and added ability to export IAF files.

"Pushed the Scan All button and recovered my missing email"
Pros: Outlook Express stopped working, lost email and couldn't send or receive. Through the help of ScanDBX plus a little bit of help through their technical support, I was able to fix the problem and recovered my email

Pros: none
Cons: kills internet explorer 6 by making it non functional. You can't uninstall/reinstall it either due to all of the updates. Your only options are Internet Explorer 7 beta, or a reinstall of XP.
