Publisher's description
From Artificial Dynamics :SafeSpace eliminates the problem of malware by creating a secure barrier between your computer and the internet, protecting you and your personal information against known and unknown malware threats. SafeSpace isolates internet facing applications in a virtual sandbox, which protects your system files and settings from unwanted changes, and blocks unauthorized access to your private files and data. When you next log off, or purge SafeSpace all virtualized changes are wiped, leaving your computer clean and malware free. Downloaded files are tracked by SafeSpace to ensure that they always open in the virtual sandbox. Tracked files can be saved to any disk location and stored alongside private files without any additional management. Surf in complete safety. Download with absolute confidence. Log off knowing your computer is clean and your personal information remains private.

Version: SafeSpace Free Edition 1.2.145
Pros: I tried this for less than a day. Does what it claims.
Cons: This just isn't something I need. It is a little confusing. I have enough security on my PC, so I don't feel the need for a sandbox program. If I need a browser that's more secure than any other, I use Browzar.

"One of the best programs for your security arsenal"
Pros: I knew kind of protection. A wonderful program, easy to use and very effective.
Cons: Slows your internet connection down a bit

Version: SafeSpace Free Edition 1.2.145
"Concepts sounds nice, but gave me the mighty blue screen"
Pros: I sure wanted this to work! On my newly configured and clean Vista system, loaded with ram, I kept getting the dreaded blue screen of death. Each time I reverted to the old "last known good system configuration," and tried again and again. Never could get this to work, even after disabling every reasonably possible incompatibility, including antivirus, etc. The screen shots look good, as does the description, but like a new car, no matter how nice the outside looks, if it won't start, looks don't really matter much.
Cons: Couldn't get it to work, so no comments other than that. I would strongly encourage you to have a backup before trying it, and/or at minimum, make sure you set a restore point just in case. I'll try this again in a few months if they come out with an update to it.

"Very good...Does what it says, but not perfect."
Pros: Simple basic install and low memory usage. Protection seems to work as described. Definitely worth a try...but I haven't been using it for too long. Simple straight forward documentation covers most users needs and the forum covers some advanced issues.
Cons: Causes some Firefox 2.0.0.12 crashes and setting up to save bookmarks is documented but tedious. Not ideal for the novice user (who would probably need it most) as some configuration tasks needed to prevent unintentional purges.
