This parental control utility blocks inappropriate Web sites, though we found some noteworthy discrepancies.
During installation, you'll have to divulge your e-mail address to obtain a code to use the program, a hurdle we'd really rather not jump. Safe Families We-Blocker Parental Control's tabbed interface is easy enough to operate, but is dull, to say the least. With it, you can create user accounts and configure settings for each. The program lets you build your own list of blocked and allowed URLs and keywords, and keeps a log of visited URLs, including the username, date and time, and action taken.
Unfortunately, to add a site to the block list, this application launches its publisher's site and you'll have to submit the URL before it can be blocked. Safe Families We-Blocker Parental Control can't be removed without its password, although it can easily be disabled via the Task Manager. The program failed to block some pornographic sites during testing, marring its overall effectiveness. Forgiving its inconsistencies, it gets the green light, although more iron-clad parental applications are available.

There are no pros to this product at all

Due to the fact it will not let you uninstall without a password, and someone else mentioned the company charges you for the password I consider this a virus and shocked CNET would have it for download.
Summary
I found my son or someone had installed this program on his computer. strangely enough all of his antivurus protection shut down and his computer ended up getting a major infection. I am a computer systems engineer and I have had to remote into his computer to try and fix this since he is away to college.
This HAS to be a virus, I saw no benefit from this program, the program will not let me un-install it and his computer has major virus infections and all his spyware and antirus has been turned off. I suspect this program had something to do with it. -

Summary
I installed because my brother is always on my laptop so I was trying to find a program that blocks spy-ware site and viruses, it don't even work and will not let you uninstall it! I try to uninstall it and it would say that I forgot my master password and I used it almost every day! If you want a great program that blocks and is customizable use K-9 web protection its free. The only thing is that its not for 64-bit. I use it on my old laptop and it works GREAT and it FREE!!! It reminds me of Smartfilter. Almost imposable to get around it and if you try you can set it up to shut off the internet for how long you want it! I would give K-9 2 thumbs up! But down side is that its not for 64-bit! If you are still reading this then do not download the we-blocker, it sucks! I give we-block two thumbs down! Well I hope this helped you..

Painfully slow program with 0 customizable preferences.... it really just sucks all around. To top it off that password thing is really rediculous. I read the reviews so I assumed it wouldn't be too great but boy.... you lose or forget that password and you are screwed. Terrible program...

if i could give it a zero i would!!!!! it blocked everything (even safe sites), it would not store my settings and kept logging out of the user in a short period of inactivity... then when i tried to removed the programe it asked for my password and i used the one i used to log into master user it did not match...i tried the default password and that did not matchso i had to get creative.... i also as i search i saw i was not the only one this happened to ( wish i saw this first) and when i tried to remove it, it started to trip out....on top of everything else it was soo slow (and made my computer slow too)

Easy to use, allows multiple users to login. It also has a log file that tells you what websites each user was on. Password protected for the uninstall.
Cons
Not able to work with firefox. Website servers are not working. To add a website to the block list the master user must complete online, which is imposable when there server is offline. Doesn't always startup automatically. Not the best parental control but with internet explorer and there server online it works good.
