From Niko Kiiskinen :RunDNS is a stand-alone DNS client program for Linux and UNIX(R) based systems. Just launch the installer and RunDNS is ready to run. It will run silently and smoothly as a background process and updates your account securely with SSLv3 encryption every time it is necessary--but not too often so that your account will not expire due to abuse. RunDNS resolves your public IP correctly, whatever your network configuration is and it updates all your hosts at the same time in case you have many hosts. It cannot be much more fun and simple than this. RunDNS uses strong encryption provided by the famous OpenSSL project. Currently, the supported dynamic DNS providers are no-ip.com and dyndns.org.
