This program is designed to remove Registry errors, though the trial version only spotlights them. Run PC Doctor performs a protracted scan of your system, looking for broken and invalid entries in the Registry areas of your choice. You can opt to hear a little beep each time an error is located, although this can become rather annoying after a while. The program located and sorted all of the errors by type found on our computer, and we could print the results. Another favorable feature to note is its scheduled daily scans; just set it and the program goes to work on its own. To our dismay, the trial version only scans and lists your problems. Fittingly, backup and restore tools aren't available in this version either since Registry repair is negated. While it does a decent enough job at sniffing out errors, we can't honestly recommend it for fixing Registry errors.Publisher's description

"My PC keeps crashing now!!!!!!!"
Cons: My system was slowing down so I thoughts I'd give this a whirl. Run PC Doctor caused my system to crash each time I ran it - I was using WinME, but have just upgraded to XP, but am afraid to try this again. I suggest RUN AWAY from this doctor!!

"There was no change in performance at all - errors still remain as well!"
Pros: Looks good - but looks can be deceptive!!
Cons: The scan identified 342 errors, but after the supposed fix, there was NO performance improvement. 23 errors links remained unfixed as well.

"pretty picture but destroyed my internet connection"
Pros: I ran this program, and although its pretty looking ? thats about it. It apparently found 231 errors, but this is strange because I have other reputable registry programs, and they found 5 errors. Plus they dont give any details on what the errors are - so you can not fix them yourself
Cons: if you want to use it longer than a month - then they want your credit card for 90 bucks every year and which renews automatically? I would advice anyone to be be cautious before making such commitment
