This download bundles a media player, a CD ripper, an audio converter, and a recording utility, though most display noticeable flaws. Rosoft Audio Recorder offers controls convenient for recording numerous audio tracks and is probably the best tool of the bunch, in spite of its clunky, outdated design. In theory, CD Extractor converts CD tracks to MP3s and WAVs, but in our tests it didn't rip a single track. Ditto for the audio converter, which is equally nonfunctional. Media Player supports various audio and video formats, including MP3, WAV, WMA, and AVI, as well as playlists in M3U format. However, in our tests, the program repeatedly played a short video clip over and over again and wouldn't allow us to remove it from the queue. If you're just looking for a basic recording application, you might take a brief look at Rosoft Audio Tools, but, all things considered, it's a strictly below-average choice.
