This combination audio recorder/converter makes a less-compelling option than many of its competitors. The program places shortcuts to both the recording tool and Rosoft Audio Converter on your desktop, although you can't access both applications from the same interface. The conversion app lets you transform files among WAVs and MP3s, and you can set the audio quality and conversion speed via the Options menu. Unfortunately, the recording tool seems rather limited. First of all, it only captures audio as WAV files and forces you to convert them to MP3s after the fact. You will find a menu item that lets you quickly access Windows' built-in sound panel for choosing your recording source, but it would be better if the application displayed this option more prominently. Also, don't expect to find fancy features such as scheduling or voice activation. We'd suggest you research your options before you take this program for a spin.Publisher's description

You can split tracks automatically or manually, and you can use the built-in timer. You also can record different WAV formats. Cons: IWhen you clear the tracks from the audio recorder, you also lose the tracks from your memory
