Publisher's description
From Midway :Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War is a detailed real-time strategy game that lets players completely command one of the four mightiest empires of the ancient world: Greece, Rome, Egypt, and Persia. Rise and Fall allows players to play as one of history's eight greatest heroes and bring victory to their nation on the battlefield. Amass enough glory, and you can fight alongside his troops in Hero Command Mode, laying waste to carefully prepared enemy plans, formations, and fortifications with an almost supernatural combination of leadership and martial skill.
This demo lets you take control of Cleopatra and the Egyptians as you battle the Romans.

Version: Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War demo
Pros: I like the hero mode, it's the best feature. It's got some good graphics and the sounds are those kind that make you feel like a warrior lol. It's a well rounded one.I'll have to play again lol. It's cool man try it.
Cons: Personally I just like fighting not building and Well I think my army was wiped out way to fast, oddly enough the enemy ai isn't that difficult.Really when the cavalry came I didn't know how to get my little dudes on the boat.I kept telling them to follow me but they fought instead by the time I did it manually there was no army. After that I got some more on the boat but after I docked it would'nt let me get more.grrrrr.

Version: Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War demo
Pros: What sets this game apart for similar RTS is the "hero mode". Basically, this means that at anytime you can control your hero from a 3rd person perspective. You can, to a limited degree, control your forces form this view, or you can issue orders form the standard birds-eye view found in most RTS. Your hero can literally hack through 100's of enemies within a map, effectively turning the tide in your favour.
Nice graphics!
I came back and played the demo again which I wouldn't normally.
Cons: Sometimes in hero mode your character is blocked by invisible barriers, especially around ships, buildings and if you go slightly off path. It's not a big deal, but it does detract from the fluidity of the game.
AI is pretty bad at times. The enemy will stupidly just camp outside your walls while your forces bombard them with projectiles. That can be fun though! It also seems incapable of getting through wall defences, i.e. build siege engines, however, this could be merely to do with difficulty settings.

Version: Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War demo
Pros: I really liked the game, and it has good gamplay and real nice grafics. I liked the mission with the Egyptians and Romans , plus the hero mode was cool being able to fight next to my troops. The skirmish is cool with no limit. Overall all i have to say is its a really good game.
Cons: None really exept the AI that can be dumb sometimes, and I just dont like the fact that you can only be the Egyptians, but with only four to choose from it makes sense.
