"A stolen name implies much not delivered"
Version: ResEdit 1.5.9
Pros
Err... it's free? That's about it.
Cons
It really doesn't do much of anything better than already available tools.
Summary
As noted by another reviewer, this application appropriates the ResEdit name from the Macintosh Resource Editor which was a staple for developers in the "Classic" Mac OS era. Sadly, while ResEdit (Mac) was a great little utility for development, customization and personalization this program is just a basic .RC editor with none of the neat features of the original. Some of this is due, no doubt, to the mangled fashion in which Windows handles resources, but still this is just a plain close to useless application.
