From RentASoft :RentASoft Image Converter is an easy to use program which converts your image files into a different image format. To convert an image, simply right click on it and click Convert image to a step-by-step wizard will then be displayed which will allow you to set conversion properties (for example, JPEG to GIF), and for some image formats select the image quality.
For converting to an icon format you can select the required icon sizes. The program supports conversion to the following formats: JPEG, GIF, Adobe PSD, TIFF, Bitmap (BMP), PNG, Icon, PCX, TGA, PXM, WBMP, PostScript (PS), and Adobe PDF. Version 2.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros: easy, fast and accurate
Cons: GUI looks somehow "cheep" but that is acceptable for that price :)

"Great "Right-Click" Image Converter!"
Pros: Converts digital images to a wide variety of formats. Simple right-click context menu for conversion. Small footprint. No adware, easy to install/uninstall.
Cons: Offers less features (i.e.; editing options) versus shareware apps (such as "Images In Context"). I personally don't consider this a "con" as I prefer to edit in a full featured app like Paint Shop Pro X2. Not compatible with 64-bit windows explorer.
Summary: A "must have" freeware application for any 32-bit Windows user who works with digital photos. The application is as intuitive as it gets. Simply hover your cursor over a digital file (a jpg for photo example) and right-click your mouse. A context me... read more >>

Pros: This is an easy,quick and handy small program to convert images to different formats..its icon is in the 'right-click-menu' that can be applied on an image easily and the conversion is done in seconds.
Cons: When gif images are converted to jpg, it gives the output image on a black background,instead of an exact copy of the original gif..that black background is not good and little bit annoying.
Summary: The program is easy, handy and quick..if there would be some more improvement with regard to Cons:above, it can become a perfect image converter.
