Publisher's description
From Detlev Schaefer :RemoteKeys replaces complicated keystroke combinations with simple mouse clicks, so you can easily send commands and text modules to any application. It offers 10 user profiles for each of the 250 buttons, and these can be assigned by hand or macro recorder. Send text modules into letters, words into HTML forms and password requesters, and more. The latest release adds more commands and functions.

Version: RemoteKeys 8.6

Version: RemoteKeys 8.6
Pros: Easy to use, has several useful features, I use the IE menu all the time, especially after I reconfigured the keys to suit my needs.
Cons: May be frustrating to configure to those who are new to computers, but will be well worth the frustration.

Version: RemoteKeys 8.6
"Simple to use, even for intermediate skill levels"
Pros: Unless you are an e-mail-only Grandma, it is pretty easy to figure out how to do some basic things. With just a few minutes of their tutorial, I programmed a few buttons to do some repetitive PhotoShop tasks and it has saved me a lot of time since then. And a REALLY awesome feature is that their are no registry entries, it is just a regular old executable just like in the old DOS days: if it ain't running, it doesn't exist. And you can't beat the price.

Version: RemoteKeys 8.6
"Difficult to learn, but very useful"
Pros: Extremely convenient program to have once you learn how to use it. The amount of customization and different tasks you can perform with the scripting part of this program is amazing. This brings automation to a whole new level.
Cons: The only downside is that it has quite a learning curve, and unfortunately, some parts of the manual are in German only. Plan on having to spend a few solid hours learning the ins and outs of the program before you can start using it. Babelfish is helpful for translations when they are necessary.

Version: RemoteKeys 8.6
Pros: Get the latest version of Remotekeys (version 8.7.2) from the author's Web Site
Remotekeys is an absolutely outstanding program, but about a fourth of it is still documented in German. The other three-fourths is in English.
It automates as many keystrokes as you want into one mouse click.
I've been using it for years. More of it is documented in English now than when I first started. The program was so good that I spent a week using a German to English translator to learn how to use it.
Now there is a tour in English that gets you started using it. Also I found a quick start in English by Martin Watson on the Web.
A technically inclined person will find this program fascinating. The ordinary person may not have the patience to use it.
Cons: The disadvantage is that it's partially documented in German.
