Publisher's description
From Rose City Software :Tired of Windows crashing? Sick of having software lock up on you or taking forever to load? The problem could be all of those incorrect registry entries caused by software installations and un-installations that went awry! Un-installations can leave behind file references in the registry to files that don't exist. You can end up with hundreds of files to slow down your computer and cause software to lock up, requiring a reboot of your computer. Version 5.0.1 build 1153 added "Home" button to all the pages, updated language files are included to the setup, and some bugs are fixed.

Version: Registry First Aid 5.0.1 build 1153
"very good but not for the novice. ver. 5.02 build 1240"
Pros: provides list far greater than that of other top rated reg. cleaners. reasonably fast.
Cons: requires some registry knowledge to know what to do with cautioned entries. Note: if you don't know for certain-do not check off box for correction. Do the research first. Even then, a program of this nature should do more for you than leave you with choices

Version: Registry First Aid 5.0.1 build 1153
"didnt have a chance to review it"
Pros: although through the trial I didnt have enough time to review the product since it limits you only six registry repairs in the trial, not enough to fully get a feel if it actualy works or not
Cons: it did repair some thing that nortan system works could not,the only reason I rate it so low is cause of the limit on the trial to six repairs

Version: Registry First Aid 5.0.1 build 1153
"trial version crippled; can't evaluate"
Pros: seems to scan registry thoroughly, makes backup; recommended by respected sources
Cons: "30-day trial" should give you a chance to use the product; only after you spend several minutes scanning the registry do you learn that you can't correct more than a few token entries without purchase. I find this bait-and-switch dishonest.
