Publisher's description
From Rose City Software :Tired of Windows crashing? Sick of having software lock up on you or taking forever to load? The problem could be all of those incorrect registry entries caused by software installations and un-installations that went awry. Un-installations can leave behind file references in the registry to files that don't exist. You can end up with hundreds of files to slow down your computer and cause software to lock up, requiring a reboot of your computer. Version 4.0 includes a Windows XP style program interface with new buttons. The program is using new technology making it faster than previous releases. There are now three safety levels of found registry errors: safe to modify, caution, and extreme.

Version: Registry First Aid 4.0 build 659
"Superb support! If problems, you can exclude folders and items from the scans!"
Pros: The support is really, I mean really superb! I got help in about one minute! If a problem with a program occur after a scan, you can exlude that programs folder and item once, so that it will not happen next time you scan. I think it scans the registry more thoroughly, than many other good registry repair programs. If you are not an expert, use it in safe mode! Thank you for the tip goldengreeke! Version: Registry First Aid 4.0 build 659
Pros: It cleans and repairs your registry and fixes any errors. It will only delete the unneccasary files, and it explains exactly what it will do to each file. Registry First Aid is safe and fast. I also like the fact that it doesn't sneek into your start menu when you use it,like Ace Utilities and Registry Mechanic do. That slows down your bootup time when you have unneccasary programs starting up at the same time. I give Registry First Aid 5 Stars and TWO thumbs UP!

Version: Registry First Aid 4.0 build 659
Pros: RFAgent uses small memory (less than 1mb) so dont wory if it is part of ur tray icon. has an extensive help file. This is almost a free product.Doesnt contact the internet even f tray icon looks like another shareware program for internet security utility, only it doesnt open and close...hmmm
Cons: Even if somebody told u its safe to use, u still hav to check (and recheck) or your gonna pay dearly...better not use it if u dont know what your doing (i dont most of the time). Restarting is a good practice for registry after installing or uninstalling...

Version: Registry First Aid 4.0 build 659
Pros: My friends, It took me a few years of disasters to get clues as to how much damage I can wreak trying to just "clean" my registry. There are many good ones out there but FIRST AID is the absolute best, without a question. Scans are broken into three "ACURATE" categories Green safe to remove Yellow careful, and Red Look Out. What helped my knowledge of the registry was this program as each error can be easily studied with a right click. REgistry Mechanic has nothing. WINASO is a a very powerful cleaner but if you're new at your registry, there is very little explained in that program. Listen up this is the best part....if you make a mistake (which chances are you will) First Aids has an awesome back up feature that allows you to JUST RESTORE THE MISTAKE. I do not have to restore the whole back up, which saves an enourmous amount of time for me when troubleshooting. For me this is very best of the best it is reliable and consistent every single time. Check out the price too, it's lower than the 5 stars
Cons: I just wish that there were more talk of -this program, and I discovered this many headaches ago, instead of PC_Tools hogging up just about every single web page and download.com sucking up to (registry mechanic) PC-Tools all the time. Note: I LOVE Download.Com and I know we have to pay the piper but there is no way you can give the Mechanic (a solid program) 5 stars and this one 4 stars. THEY ARE WORLDS APART.
