This utility considerably extends the functionality of Windows' built-in registry editor. RegWorks features almost every tool you'll need for working with your system's registry. Besides offering an intuitive editor, the app can monitor your registry in real time. You also can quickly back up your registry and compare individual keys, though you can't compare the entire registry with its archive. You can set filters to avoid scrolling though needless entries, as well as highlight operations with a specific color based on their parameters. The registry reference enables even inexperienced users to control hidden system settings and roll them back in case of problems. Despite that, RegWorks will be of most use to system administrators and advanced users who feel comfortable digging through their PC's registries.Publisher's description
From RegWSoft :RegWorks can completely replace the standard registry tools. The built-in registry editor has the following additional functions: convenient and flexible interface, registry key comparison, capabilities to work with inactive (damaged) system registry, multiple-stream search, copying and pasting keys and values, read-only mode. The built-in tweaker allows modifying many predefined operating system settings (~700 entries). The main functions include: creating and deleting tweaks and categories, importing and exporting tweaks, searching tweaks, copying and pasting tweaks, creating backups. The built-in registry monitor is a tool for runtime intercepting calls for the registry processing functions. It allows flexible configuration of call filter and log highlighting rules.

"Has Potential- For Now Destroys Registry"
Summary: This product's interface is great, setup is a breeze, but let it loose on your registry and it'll destroy it as it did with it's search/replace utility.

Pros: This program offers excellent user interface improvements of Registry Editor included in Windows XP.
Cons: Its features are all superficial. The program is outdated and is no longer suitable for today's computing environment. Modern registry features such as Access Control, Auditing, Unicode support and new registry data types are not supported.
