I had 76% free space.
Cons
I have had a major problem on my lab top with the Disk Defrag, I could not get it beyond 14% free to do a complete defrag, it was heavily fragmented, I have tried and bought numerous programs ranging from Free to $89 and not 1 ever was able to defrag beyond 14%. Then I found regutility. In a matter of less then 1 minute, I had 76% free space. This Program I can not say enough about, Just THANK YOU.

None I have to reformat my computer and my data is lost.
Cons
Did the one click clean up. Shut down my computer and tried to restart. All I got was a black screen. Will not even start in safe mode. Now I have to reformat my computer with all kinds of data lost.

They gave me 3 PC licences for registry easy scan and 3 months free trial to 3 other pieces of software. It worked fine for me, I do not understand why so many other reviewers, have had no look.

Froze my computer completely. Not even use of my mouse. Of course you can't contact them so now I am restoring my computer with the recovery disks.
Summary
Don't waste your money. I have demanded a refund. Not user friendly at all! Messed up my computer and had to restore it with recovery disks.

It is an excellent program for those who are either not computer savvy enough to do a manual registry repair, or who simply don't want to do a manual repair. I purchased this product after my computer had been overrun with Trojans. A tech support guy attempted to remove them all without reformatting (using avast! Antivirus). He was able to get most, but not all removed. I then downloaded Regutility and installed this program.
Cons
Much to my relief, I was able to remove all of the Trojans and clean up my registry, resulting in faster computer performance. This program is easy to use and I highly recommend it. Regarding the reviewer who advises not to buy the product, I wonder if he did not create a system restore point before compacting the registry. It is vital to create a system restore point whenever making changes to the registry, just in case the changes cause a problem with computer performance. I had no problems whatsoever with this program, and again I highly recommend it.

Messes up your computer!
Summary
I installed the product, did a 1-click clean-up, and turned off the computer. Now, the computer won't start up anymore! I've tried it in every secure and none-secure mode, and it just stalls and doesn't react anymore! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! WASTE OF MONEY, AND IT WILL COST YOU EVEN MORE TO GET IT FIXED OR BUY A NEW COMPUTER AFTER THIS!

Thanks for the education on the empty registry keys...

I de-selected them and it got everything repaired with one scan. Overall, my laptop is much better behaved now and does run faster, so I am very happy. An added bonus, my "system restore" had stopped working. I turned it on and off several times to no avail. After running regutility, system restore is back alive! Thanks for the quick response.

We ran RegUtility 4's 1 step cleanup and lost our whole development PC!! No network, no keyboard, no mouse, no DVD drive access, not able to uninstall or install software; total disaster!!
And no support to this point! I also doubt they honor their moneyback guarantee??

RegUtility really works well for me. I just ran it on my Lenovo running Windows Vista Home Premium. It worked without a hitch. It even caught a lot that my other free registry missed. I am very happy with this application.
