RecordPad is a sound recording program for Windows PCs. Using RecordPad you can quickly and easily record audio notes, messages, or announcements in either wav of mp3. RecordPad is designed to be very easy and intuitive to use. Within minutes you will be able to start a recording, save it, and replay the file. Features: Record sound, voice, notes, music or any other audio. Save recordings in WAV, MP3 or AIFF format. Voice activated recording. System-wide hot keys allow keyboard control over recording. Automatically send recordings via email or upload to an FTP server. MPEG Layer-3 encoding offers content of variable bit rates from 8 to 320kbps with optional CRC error checking and joint stereo modes. Wave encoding at sample rates between 6000 and 196000Hz in PCM or many other codecs and bits. Can run from other programs command line options. Version 2.12 adds AIFF files support, updated dialogs, help file, and command line support

Version: RecordPad Sound Recorder 2.12

"Pretty much locked up once it started."

Pros: You can uninstall it

Cons: Kept reopening the CD Burn program when trying to record, then hung up and had to kill the task to get out of it. Stay away from this.
