From Katsura Shareware :RealZoom is shareware. It generates a somewhat realistic zoomed (close-up) image of the original image as if you are taking a close look at your LCD or CRT screen with a magnifying glass. Available zoom types: RGB stripes, RGB dots, LCD, Trinitron (Aperture Grille, Grill?), Shadow Mask, and Video (interlace). I hope this is a useful image utility for graphic designers, and to understand how images are reproduced on an LCD or CRT screen.
NOTE: RealZoom generates a very large image when the original image is large. Please make sure you have enough memory installed. I'm working on the next version to make things better. Thanks.
What's new in this version:
Tried to reduce memory usage. Still requires a lot of memory if you select high magnification zoom types such as LCD (12x) and Shadow Mask (16x) and load a relatively large image such as an entire screen shot or a high resolution photograph.
