Readon Free TV and Radio Player is a basic program that gives users access to a large number of international television and radio stations. It's nothing fancy, but it does contain links to a staggering amount of content.
The program's interface is simple, with its content types--TV, radio, movies on demand, and live sports--arranged in four tabs. TV and radio stations are organized alphabetically by country and genre, and drop-down menus allow users to filter results. Users simply click on the content that they want to access, and it plays either within the player itself or in the VLC player, which must be downloaded separately. The online Help file is fairly well-done, although we wished that it opened in the user's default browser and not Internet Explorer. Readon Free TV and Radio Player is a pretty basic program, but it does have a few extra features that make it stand out among similar programs. Readon provides access to quite a bit of adult content, but it provides a password-protected filter for users who want to disallow access to it. Perhaps the program's most important feature is that it allows users to record content using VLC. This didn't work for every channel we tried, but it did for quite a few of them. We also appreciated the fact that the program contains a minimum of nonfunctioning links, something that's been a problem in similar programs we've seen.
Readon Free TV and Radio Player is free. It comes as a ZIP file and installs desktop icons without asking, but it uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users.

extensive content and variation, good selection and excellent add-ons access, superior content indexing, quality and HD availability through veetle.
Cons
not much except for the return to home page and slightly awkward navigation due to the variation of players used. lack of specialized professional channels. Not the same level of quality or control opr integration as WinAmp.
Summary
While internet TV has been getting progressively better, this is the best to date With a huge number of channels (8000 plus) there is every type of possible content excepting the specialized professional types such as from Law Enforcement TV, or Medical channels. The ease and completeness of search and the well engineered indexing makes Readon very acceptable as something that you might keep handy for additional content. It is the most generous and nicely put together offering of internet TV to date. While it is miles ahead of the original TV selectivity of WinAmp (free version), it does not have the integration or the quality of control and that's a shame.

It's fun, and the download caused no trouble. But there are hundreds of channels in languages I speak, and since there's no program list, I use it only when I have literally nothing better to do.
