Publisher's Description
From Monolith Productions:
In Rage of Mages II, you must embark upon a journey to improve strength and skill, enlist powerful allies, and recover a lost talisman of ancient magic to survive the coming onslaught. Ultimately you must seek out the lair of the Necromancers and destroy them and their undead puppets before they can carry out their terrifying plans.
The full game has 43 nonlinear, branching missions. Players lead their party of adventurers through Arabian-style desert cities and arboreal Druid villages. Each location delivers new challenges and new foes. There are 80 unique foes to conquer and over 400 weapons, items, spells, objects, and buildings to help adventurers in their travels. Totally new multiplayer arenas support up to 16 players.

"Very good game!"
Version: Rage of Mages II: Necromancer demo
Summary
It's a very good game. Not so easy, so you need to show your strategic knowledge to finish it. Lots of items and secrets everywhere!

"It's too easy."
Version: Rage of Mages II: Necromancer demo
Summary
This demo only has 3 missions, played in a specific order. That probably doesn't do the full game justice as it's supposed to have 43 non-linear, branching missions. Also I understand there is supposed to be some emphasis on un-dead creatures, but they don't make a show in the demo.
Some people have said the quests are overly complicated, this is not the case. People seem to dislike the fact that you actually have to form some basic strategy, rather than just overpowering the enemy. If you can think about what you're doing, you'll get this done in no time, which was my greatest problem with it.
Less than a day after downloading I'd already completed all three missions. Since the events of each mission were basically pre-set in an order that made it impossible to miss what you had to do next, it only takes as long per level as it takes to learn how to survive.
Still it's a good game; I've found it fairly addictive, I just wish there was more to the demo. If you like strategic RPGs, give it a go. If on the other hand you like to fire and forget, you should forget about this game. -
