We like this system-cleaning utility's feature set and flexibility. Naturally, R-Wipe & Clean can erase your browser's cache, cookies, temporary files, and typed URLs. In addition, you can securely delete any file via the right-click menu in Windows Explorer. You can perform common system deletions as well, such as emptying your Recycle Bin and erasing your Clipboard history. The program even includes a pop-up blocker. R-Wipe & Clean covers tracks left in a wide variety of applications, from productivity suites to IM clients. We appreciate its ability to schedule cleaning sessions and like its tool for scouring free space on a hard drive. For the especially security-minded, the program offers five algorithms for securely deleting files. Users who frequently cruise the Web at work can hide all open browser windows with a quick keystroke. R-Wipe & Clean offers tree and bar views of its straight-ahead interface. We found the first more convenient and the latter more aesthetically pleasing. All in all, if you don't mind the relatively short 15-day trial, R-Wipe & Clean represents a quality pick.

R-Wipe & Clean is a complete solution to wipe useless files and keep your computer privacy. Irretrievably deletes private records of your on- and off-line activities, such as temporary Internet files, history, cookies, autocomplete forms and passwords, swap files, recently opened documents list, Explorer MRUs, temporary files, traces from more than 250 third-party applications, and free up your disk space.

The utility wipes files and unused disk space using either fast or secure erase algorithms. All files and folders may be combined in wipe lists to erase them in a single procedure. All separate wiping and cleaning tasks can be combined in one or more erasing procedures launched immediately or at predefined times or events as a background task. R-Wipe & Clean includes Popup Blocker and supports Internet Explorer, NETSCAPE, AOL, MSN, Opera, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and BT Yahoo browsers as well as the Google and MSN toolbars. Version 8.0 adds some new features and improvements including the last versions of Mozilla Firefox and Opera support.
