Proteg Manager allows you to convert a standard portable USB flash drive (USB storage device) into a security token, that can be used to securely access your PC. After installation you are prompted for a USB flash drive and can then select a user account that you want to protect. To access your PC with that account, you will need the created USB flash drive, as well as an additional password--you will always need both, the USB drive and the password. Version 3.3 adds new option that allows to disable lock screen when USB flash drive is disconnected.

Not much!
Cons
I never had much of a chance to try Proteg, during the 14-day trial period. After the 14-day period, there is a pop-up message every 1/2 hour to buy the application. I deleted the application, and still got the pop-up message. I did several searches for files with the words Proteg or Inflexpoint in them and deleted what I found...Still being annoyed by the pop-up message. I sent there support ppl a message about the problem...no response. I'll not soon buy any Inflexpoint software!

I was able to recover mostly from utter disaster
Cons
I lost the SHUTDOWN function in start, and ctrl-alt-del now has only the cancell function working.
