Version: Protector Plus 2008 Antivirus 8.0.C02
Pros: Works perfectly. It is not free, but you get what you pay for. Set it and forget it. This is a little-known but excellent anti-virus program. You'll love it.
Cons: Scan Results font could be bolder. (no biggie)

Version: Protector Plus 2008 Antivirus 8.0.C02
"Really a good alternative especially on small devices"
Pros: Fast Setup - no long questions - no endless upcoming Bouble warnings - just a clean and silent "hunter". I decided to use this one due it is small in its footprint and fits on my small Fujitsu Siemens Sub Notebook which has a slower CPU (Mobile Centrino about 1.1 GhZ). I also use it on virtual mashines which have not much power and it worked really okay (USB Stick PVR PC or Remote RDP). Please if anyone can find a reputated review please post. I did not test the Mail Server Edition right now but it seems to go streight for the SMTP/IMAP protocoll on the IP Stream so it should be compatible with Exchange and Notes Servers. If Spyware and AntiSpam would be included i would have given 5 Star`s... till now i did not have any virus thread and all runs smooth.
Cons: It does find Spyware - but is not specialiszed in it. Anyhow i suggest using Mozilla Firefox. From my experience also other tools such as Norton or Kaspersky have trouble with identification of Spyware. But i found out that Proland offers AntiSpam And AntiSpyware features as well for a small fee.

Version: Protector Plus 2008 Antivirus 8.0.C02
"Excellent - cheap, fast, light"
Pros: I dont mind about virus threads. Most of the virus threads i know are less painfull than a fat antivirus angine bothering me all day. I searched a small tool which is not "over commercialized" and i think this one can do the job.
I dont need firewall (my router and Windows has one - i dont need AntiSPAM - because my Mailprovider does the Job much better) I took this one because it is not eating up my memory and comes with features i dont need.
Lets see how it goes on the long run. For now i have no negative comments - because antivirus software is anyhow the same pain as side effects would give us from medical treatments. This here goes well enough.
Cons: Please provide a longer trial period ;) Help a poore student to survive
