ProtectStar Mobile Firewall enables you to secure a mobile terminal against unauthorised access, data theft and abuse. It also allows the secure integration of mobile terminals into the IT infrastructure of a company. To provide reliable protection for pocket mobile pocket PCs, handhelds, and smartphones against unauthorised access, ProtectStar has developed ProtectStar Mobile Firewall with integrated dialler protection and a content filter.
The firewall has been optimised for GPRS and UMTS networks and is highly compact. It is suited for pocket PCs and smartphones devices that set up their internet connections, for instance, through a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, and also for devices with their own mobile phone unit.
