Changing the properties or names of multiple files at once is impossible in Windows Explorer. That's where Property Cafe comes in. It lets you add text, change case, number files sequentially, change file extensions, and find and replace a string in filenames just by dragging and dropping a group of files onto the program window. What's more, you can even name a file using its properties, such as size, date, time, and MP3 tags. After you choose what to change and press OK, the renaming preview window lets you check the new filenames before renaming. Time-stamp and attribute tools give you control over the way your computer sees and presents the files. The ZIP file unpacks as the executable program itself, so remember where you unzipped to. The utility doesn't let you apply several types of renaming changes at once or save your actions as scripts for later use, which diminishes its appeal for professional use. However, Property Cafe can really help home users handle their files.

Property Cube is a cool tool which changes file properties simply and quickly. It has multiple features such as renaming files or changing file attributes, timestamps and extensions in batch mode. You can change file attributes (Read-Only, Hidden, Archive, Index and System), file timestamps (Created, Modified and Accessed) and File Extensions. The renaming has five kinds of different features. Replace String( regular expression ), Convert Case, Rename with Numbers, Timestamp and MP3 Metadata. Furthermore, the renaming has features, such as preview, undo, error log, and same name alert for safe renaming. You just drag and drop files or folders onto Property Cube. Version 3.3 adds renaming by regular expression and fixes small problems.
