Version: Progress Quest 6.1
Pros: If you hate MMORPG grind, you'll absolutely love this game.
Cons: Graphics could be a little more polished, but it does the job.

Version: Progress Quest 6.1
Pros: At first, it looks like a regular MMORPG; you give it time, it gives you progression. What sets it apart from other MMORPGs (Other than the humor, which is of course a nice touch), is that you don't WASTE time playing it. You play when you want, for however long you want, without wasting time on trivial activities. Definitely a five-stars.

Version: Progress Quest 6.1
"Not really a real game, but then again it's not supposed to be"
Pros: It is rather interesting. You don't really do anything at all. Just create a character, and let the program just run for ages. The entire time your character levels up and adventures while you do nothing to control it or anything to advance the progress. It's more of a novelty than anything. It's pretty much a mockery of online RPGs and the grind fest associated with it. One of the pluses is that the application sends game info to the main website, so you can compare your boredom to everyone else who plays (or rather does not play) this game. There are no graphics other than the blue bar going up and down. The text is goofy at best, not badly though. Some of the puns like "Succubus's dirty underwear" are humourous. Again, I believe this is meant to be a joke.
Cons: My only gripe is the weirdness of this application. You really don't need to download it to play, and if you are like me, if I don't need to download it, then why bother? No real communication is this mockery, and no real way of knowing what the heck is going on other than reading the dialouge box at the bottom. It's something to leave on while you go on vacation, or a replacement for a screensaver at best.

"Highly innovative with great graphics"
Pros: Progress Quest is really the next step in the evolution of MMORPGs. It basically cuts out all of the parts that are tedious or frustrating. I never feel stressed while playing this game. The graphics are also excellent-- there was never a time when I wasn't sure what was going on. It looks great even on my old computer. There are many races and classes to choose from as well.
Cons: You may feel that traditional MMORPGs are lacking once you have played Progress Quest.

"Awesome! No more RPG stat-driven cravings!"
Pros: Wow. It says alot when a simple text updated auto-played RPG can actually give me the same sense of satisfaction after playing a real RPG game. Is this what RPG's have come to? In any case, I can actually feel like I've played ALOT but also not have "played" at all. What a timesaver!
