ProgDVB is a software which allows you to watch SAT-Television and listen to Radio channels directly from satellite by using DVB-PCI cards with hardware decoders on the board, SAT-dish, and personal x86-compatible computers. Version: ProgDVB 5.12.10

"Not functional"

Pros: Free.

Cons: My OS is Vista. I was searching for a program for my DVB-S card. This program did not work at all. I found the DVB Dream (freeware) and it is working but was not able to tune all freq. So I had to buy DVBViewer Pro and it did worke very well. My card is TechniSat DVB-PC TV Star PCI.

Version: ProgDVB 5.12.10

"Heaps better than previous version"

Pros: Easier to tweak the settings (earlier version kept having issues with Elecard Audio which prevented it from showing HD TV stations) Easy to record, clean interface.

Cons: Still have a habit of freezing for no apparent reason occasionally.
