From ProgDVB :ProgDVB is a software which allows you to watch SAT-Television and listen to Radio channels directly from satellite by using DVB-PCI cards with hardware decoders on the board, SAT-dish, and personal x86-compatible computers. Cons: Version 4.88.4 of this freeware somehow WRECKED my new Hauppauge HVR-3000 card !!!!!!! On DVB-T device it did not work. When I tried to start the DVB-S device inside the Options the program hung and could not be terminated by the task manager. After this, even the Hauppauge Software WinTV did not display anything anymore!
I tried several restarts with disconnecting the power cable, unpugged the card from PCI bus, re-installed the drivers, restored a Windows-backup-image from before I installed the card the first time and re-installed the drivers & software again - no sucess. The card IS broken!!! I have to send it back now!!!

Pros: Easy to set up, scans and lists channels quickly and neatly. TV screen mode is adjustable so you can go either full screen or make a small one if you have to do something else. Picture is amazingly clear, and the audio is great. Easily configurable,
Cons: When you try to watch HD TV, you keep getting "Pin Error. Elecard_Audio_Decoder.In error no matter which setting you use. Will keep looking for a solution to it. There have been a few solutions posted, but the solutions cause other problems.
