Version: ProFactor Stylemanager 1.13
Pros: Stylemanager installed very easily and automatically integrated into my copy of DevStudio. With a quick button press, it brought up a formatting page showing the source file I had open in dev studio.
There were various standard formats to choose from, and then MANY tabs for further customization. Each change updates your file in real time. I was able to get the code looking almost exactly like my own in a matter of minutes. You can save multiple style templates and apply them to single files, a selection, or the entire project.
I could really see this being useful for individuals and especially for companies. If you have old code you want to clean up, or you download some open-source demos, or if you change your mind on formatting in the middle of a project this works great.
Cons: There were only a few formatting options that I wished had been included: I wanted to force it to add curly braces around single line if statements. I wanted to be able to force a single variable declaration per line. I wanted some options for formatting comment lines.
I wouldn't mind if the price were a bit lower.
There were times when the speed to update a file was a bit slow, but I'm impatient.
