From Cosmigo :Pro Motion is a 256 color-based animation and drawing package similar to Deluxe Paint on Amiga. It has been designed with 8-bit color depth in mind, a key feature for sprite, Web, or character animators. Pro Motion features a variety of drawing tools, paint modes, effects, drawing aids, and a 3D keyframer for creating 3D animation from 2D images. Additional perks include animationwide color management, multiple projects at your fingertips, a brush container, animated brushes, up to 2,999 frames per animation, and a playing speed of 60 fps or faster. Pro Motion also offers built-in FLI/FLC-IO and GIF87/89a import capabilities (the full version includes the GIF89a export plug-in). Users can connect Pro Motion to their favorite photo retouching software via the Clipboard to access even more functions. Version 4.0 features AVI i/O, JPG I/O, and 24-bit support for reading and writing image and animation files. In addition, there are many new functions, including new transition effects, improved color management, AnimPainting, new paint modes, and color reduction algorithms for images and animations. This version limits output file types to JPG, AVI, SPR, ICO, and ANI, and the GIF89a export plug-in is not included.
