Despite its plain appearance, Private Encryptor offers comprehensive encryption and decryption features that are novice-friendly and advanced-user secure. The simply designed, password-protected interface features Windows Explorer-style or drag-and-drop encryption and decryption of files. The program also integrates into the Windows Shell Context menu to encrypt or decrypt files with a simple right click. This demo software encrypts with DES, Fast Encryption, and Media Stealth algorithms while the registered version offers stronger methods. Private Encryptor conceals the original filenames of encrypted files, or you can use image or audio files to camouflage them. It's a snap to create self-extracting executables to send files to anyone without the utility. We also found other features very beneficial and simple to use, such as a data-backup tool, a simple file shredder, and an e-mail-message encryption/decryption tool. All levels of users will find Private Encryptor a simple and helpful encryption application.
