Editors' reviewWhile it cleans Internet and Windows tracks, its all-or-nothing stance isn't very nice. Winning no beauty contests, Private Cleaner ESS-Internet History, Registry's interface is simple to use. It swiftly scans selected areas and instantly lists the number of traces left from surfing with Internet Explorer, Opera, and Mozilla. It also covers Netscape. Common Windows system areas such as the Recent Documents list, the run history, temporary files, the Recycle Bin, and a handful of third-party applications are combed over and listed for rapid removal. The cleaning process is easily scheduled to run several times a day as needed or every day at a specific time, although the trial only gives 30 uses. To our dismay, selective deletion after the scanning process is complete isn't offered. You'll either dump everything uncovered or keep it. This application is suitable for basic tracks removal, but if you want some say-so as to what's cleared away you'll want another program.
Private Cleaner can list all your footprints (visited URLs, search, run program, temp files, recycle bin, cache, cookie, and 100s software tracks), clear them selectively, not clear all without your confirmation. It can save the cookies file by your selection. It can clear for Winzip, Photoshop, ACDSee, RealOne, Media Player, CuteFTP, Net Vampire, Net Transport, Flash Get, MS Office. It supports multiple-type browsers, such as Netscape, Opera, and Mozilla.
Version 3.2.19 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
