From PC Tools :Privacy Guardian is a safe and easy way to clean activity and history traces and securely delete online Internet tracks stored in your browser and in hidden files. To protect your privacy and improve your system's performance, Privacy Guardian can delete cookies, clean index.dat files, clean the cache, erase the recent documents history, clear the recent documents list, remove temporary files, free hard drive space, kill typed URLs, wipe autocomplete-form data, empty file and temp folders, bleach empty hard-drive space and products such as Kazaa, iMesh, or ICQ.
Privacy Guardian uses an advanced eraser to ensure all traces of your Internet and computer activities are permanently deleted and unrecoverable on your PC. Web browsers only provide partial privacy protection by allowing some temporary Internet files and cookies to be deleted, but they do not wash data out of all the hidden files, nor do they delete the data securely. Privacy Guardian is free of spyware and adware. Version 4.0 enhances third-party product cleaning.

Version: Privacy Guardian 4
"try one of the free programs first:similar to webroot's window washer"
Pros: this program, like the free programs internet sweeper and ccleaner, will clean internet debris and allow for management of cookies but ccleaner and internet sweeper are free; the wash free space option is not available in these free programs and "free space" is where windows sends deleted items which can be recovered which may be worthy option for some and if you have a specific file to delete, like last's years tax return, it can be identified and washed separately, i bought for 10 when i downloaded spyware doctor from pc tools and would not pay more and free space wash will take a lot of time for a large drive washing what is really free free; so more services than free programs but not worth 30 to me
Cons: ccleanter is probably more intuitive and easier to use; for me if you want more secure washes when you dispose of your computer, buy a program that washes the whole drive or discard the hard disc separetely and more securely and save 20 bucks-basically i gave the same review of window washer by webroot-this product by pc tools and webroot's product would make more sense as part of their respective spyware packages at no additional cost to the consumer so the major flaw is price for performance compared to the free programs

Pros: Great program, it completely cleans your computer. It cleans alot of files that CCleaner doesn't. The best part is it can bleach your free space. This not only preserves your privacy, but it allows you to speed up your computer considerably. You can also save your settings letting you keep cookies or files that you don't want it to delete.

Pros: It uses one interface in which you can work through your options and customize your clean up. The shredder is also easy to work with on a separate basis. The overall cleanup is the best allrounder I've found, working with cleaning up several major browsers, microsoft office, and major cluttered areas windows. You can sweep your history to maintain privacy and at the same time free up some hard drive space.
Cons: I just don't like the fact that to get all the options you have to pay. The price isn't terrible and the full product is actually definitely the king of all similar software in it's category but still tight fisted little things like me prefer not to pay for software. Freeware is so much more tasty.

"Very Useful, wish it had more options"
Pros: Its great to be able to leave your computer knowing that your roommate won't be able to see your salary and business documents, or read your emails to your girlfriend.
Cons: Wish it had more info/options about the methods it uses to shred/destroy data.
