Privacy Eraser Pro is an Internet eraser that cleans up all Internet tracks and past computer activities. It can quickly erase your cache, cookies, history, visited URLs, typed URLs, autocomplete form data, index.dat files, the swap file, and temp folders. The cookie-cleaning feature allows you to specify which cookies to keep, so you don't erase your important login cookies. Privacy Eraser Pro supports free plug-ins that extend cleaning features that support popular programs such as ACDSee, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Kazaa, and ICQ2003. The application's additional features include a secure file shredder and scheduled cleanups. Privacy Eraser Pro completely implements the U.S. Department of Defense DoD 5220.22-M and NSA clearing and sanitizing standard.

Version: Privacy Eraser Pro 5.95

"Great history cleaner, but..."

Pros: I read a review along time ago that claimed this program deletes registry keys. Well, it's true, it does but it's one hell of a cleaner. I'd rate it higher if I had the smarts to know why it gets into my registry and what kind of registry keys it's deleting.

Cons: Erases at least one registry key every time I use it.
