Print Direct bypasses the printer driver in Windows 95/98/NT. It installs itself as an icon on the desktop. Dragging files from Windows Explorer and dropping them onto Print Direct will print them on the default printer. Users can also click on the icon to select any file to print to any installed printer. Print Direct is the only utility that allows the user to utilize the Print to File option in Microsoft Word and in other products.
