Publisher's description
From Primedius :WebTunnel dynamically hides your IP (Internet address), protects all your personal information, and hides online activity in real time by creating your personal VPN for you. A no-reboot USB key option for stealth operation works in any network and breaks any filter. It enables totally anonymous surfing, chat, file sharing, NNTP and SOCKS activity. ISPs, network admins, profilers, spies, or Identity thieves cannot track or block your Web profile, habits or use patterns.
Dynamic SSL-encrypted proxy surfing ensures privacy and removes all traces. Even Spyware cannot see you within WebTunnel. It works inside any network, firewall, and anywhere in the world. It cannot be blocked or filtered domestically or internationally. It supports all P2P applications, NNTP, HTTP, and SOCKS. WebTunnel cleans IE cache and history. Erases traces beyond recovery. Version 6.23 updates NNTP and unblock.

Version: Primedius WebTunnel 6.23
Pros: It's fairly easy to use, and seems to be loaded with features for handling spam, pop-ups, etc. When surfing anonymously and checking your i.p. address it shows a primedius i.p. address instead of your own.
Cons: It doesn't seem to have the option of selecting a proxy server of your choice (always uses a server from primedius). It has too many tabs and options for doing things other than anonymous surfing that I will never use. It definitely needs more options for anonymous surfing. I don't like the idea of going through a premedius owned proxy server all the time; It pretty much defeats the whole purpose of trying to be anonymous. It seemed to eat up a lot of memory too.

Version: Primedius WebTunnel 6.23
Pros: Useful for the Popups.
Depending on the version you purchase, there is an efficient cleaning of your history.
Cons: The installation requires good knowledge of your computer. The surf using the Proxy is very very slow (slower than with a 56k modem). Loads of sites can't be visited for various mysterious reasons. When you ask for explanations to the support, you don't receive any answer or when they answer, they tell you that you're wrong, that everything works fine and so on. I have wasted my time and losed my money with this soft.

Version: Primedius WebTunnel 6.23
Pros: The best part of this program is that it removes itself easily with very little trace. Delete manually the Program folder and the start menu short-cut. I ran a scan to make sure the sucker was gone and it was.
Cons: 1.) Instigated "peer" traffic over my system. Where before installing Primedius there was no usage/traffic other than my activities. After installing, the program kept a peer channel running and constantly using my resources. No thanks!
2.) Didn't hide my IP address. The only reason I got the thing was to hide my IP while surfing. So checking to see if this function actually worked I went to one of my web sites: I have a hit counter that tracks all kinds of information. Sure enough, there was my IP and all the other system information like Primedius fell asleep or something.
3.) Flash interface required. I don't like the flash interface and it shows this program as a fledgling tag-along and not as a leader. It is easy to cripple over the mountain on somebody else's back.
4.) So it leaves me to the cookie cleaner and other cleaners. Big Deal!
