This free application routinely serves up Bible verses from your PC's system tray. PowerVerse provides passages from eight books of the Bible, including Romans, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You can decide how often the pop-ups should appear and how long they should stay onscreen. The program delivers verses in five skins, though some of them look quite a bit alike. PowerVerse groups verses into different themes, though you can edit them or even create your own. The program's Bible Reader feature lets you search books by chapter and verse, useful if you want to see specific entries rather than random ones. While some users may find all those pop-ups annoying, persons who want regular doses of the gospel are likely to enjoy this program.

Very good to have on each computer in the world, people need more the Word of God than ever. The comment from sep 2004, it's wrong. The old Testament on any Bible version call Jehovah to God; the new Testament doesn't.
