"Really a Great program"

Pros
I have been using Audacity, which is a good program but the learning curve is to steep and if you haven't used it for awhile you have to read the help. Power Sound Editor is much easier to navigate and has icons for what you need and as your pointer touches the icon it tells you what it will do, unlike Audacity. The sound is great, no fuzz in the background, has all the effects and editing you will need.

Couldn't find a con while using it.

The nice thing is that you can make your CD's right form this program.

Not the most elegant interface, but you can operate program with simple and understandable interface without hassle.
Summary
Today I am very happy with this software to do a voice-over for a PowerPoint presentation, and determined the only way to do a decent job was to dig out Power Sound Editor Free. The trimming and noise-reduction capabilities really improved my very amateur voice recordings. I know the program has many more capabilities that I don't use or understand, but I'm always able to do my simple edits in a snap.

Just because I'm not up on how to work this thing, I did do a lot of playing around with it and it did some pretty amazing things. All in all, I have to give it a thumbs up.
