The title of this product tells you everything you need to know about it. MP3 Sound Cutter saves a fragment from an MP3 or WAV recording as a separate file. The segment can be saved in either format. To make segments sound more natural, MP3 Sound Cutter can add fade-ins and fade-outs. The interface is attractive, but could be improved by highlighting the selection in a more visible way. The trial version limits the length of the sound segments to 60 seconds, but that should give you enough information to decide whether you want to buy the full version. Audiophiles may find this handy little program useful for editing recorded Internet transmissions.
