"Works on my Windows XP desktop and my Windows7 laptop."
Version: Postscript Viewer 1.1
Pros
Works perfectly
Cons
Since the program is free and does what it promises, I can't think of a con.
Summary
This program modifies the .ps file so that Acrobat Reader can open it and then it opens the file with Acrobat Reader. I was able to read it and to print it out with Acrobat Reader.

Pros
Easy to install, easy to use.
Cons
There is nothing I don't like.

Installed easily and it associates itself with .ps file. There's no need to do a separate conversion sequence - just double-click on the .ps file (it has an Acrobat Reader icon now) and it auto-converts and opens in Acrobat Reader.

"Doesn't work."
Version: Postscript Viewer 1.1
Pros
I can't thinlk of anything.
Cons
It told Windows to open my ps files as pdf's, but only works with Adobe Acrobat. Since you can open ps files in Acrobat without this software, I don't see the point.
Summary
Unless I'm missing something (that's not explained in the download documentation), this softtware is worthless.

"Might be nice if it worked"
Version: Postscript Viewer 1.1
Pros
There are no pros; it doesn't work.
Cons
Doesn't work.
Summary
I tried to view the .ps file at http://www.catb.org/~esr/intercal/intercal.ps.gz and it comes up blank. I'm not using Acrobat, I'm using Foxit PDF Reader 3.0, but I've never had a problem with it with any other pdf file.
Nevermind, the original file was misnamed; it was actually a gz file.
