Poster is a popular Windows sharewareprogram for making big posters, signs, and banners. Posters can be up to 9feet by 9 feet at 300 DPI, and even bigger at lower resolutions. Poster combinesthe best features of word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing withfeatures especially tuned for big posters and banners. This includescomplete flexibility in the placement of graphics, a full set of drawingtools and more than 100 special effects ( including 3D, rotate, and arch) for text.All text and graphics are enlarged and tiled over multiple pages. Poster supports all TrueType and ATM (Adobe Type Manager) fonts and imports graphics from BMP files and WMFs, as well as from the Clipboardand OLE applications. Poster supports full color and mostWindows-compatible printers. Full support is there for nonstandard posterand paper sizes.
