Thought this freeware UML tool can t rival enterprise-level modeling software, it has an amazingly mild learning curve. It took me minutes to master controls and get down to my home assignment in UML modeling. I didn t even have to read the extensive help manual. Diagrams can be exported to the XMI format. You also can print and save them in many graphics formats including JPEG and PNG. The interface is elegant and very intuitive compared to many other UML tools I have seen. Though it is free for personal use, the registration is required. As Poseidon for UML Community Edition offers no collaboration features, we recommend the software for personal UML modeling needs.Publisher's description

Version: Poseidon for UML Community Edition 3.0
Pros: It looks nice the first few minutes
Cons: Poseidon (even the newest 4.x version) is really hard to use, constantly bugging, license problems, memory hogging... Paper and pencil is probably more effective.
You cant even open multiple files in the same program, you need to run multiple instances of Poseidon which will take over 1GB of memory pretty quickly.
Seriously, look for some other tool!

"Want to loose your precious time ?"
Pros: None
Cons: Apparently a good interface, you start to create your UML diagrams, save your job each 5 minutes... But after 1/2 hour of work things start to get weird. Diagrams not correctly saved. Copy Paste functions buggy... Probably you did something wrong ?? You retry and retry. Still buggy. You finally lost 3 hours with an inconsistent project as result and you spent more energy wondering how this damn software works than minding of your UML design...
So you finally go back to TogetherJ...
Definetly not stable. I assume they keep bugs specially fo the free version !!!

Version: Poseidon for UML Community Edition 3.0
Cons: Very very slow to use. Buggy. Freezes and crashes for no reason. "Free" license expires. It allows you to create multiple diagrams in one save file, but all but one diagram disappears when reopening the file later.
Pen and paper is better. You'll spend more time trying to figure out how to do something simple than anything else.
