Pop-Up Zapper is a shareware application for Mac OS X that helps you by "zapping" away those annoying popup windows when you surf the web.

Pop-Up Zapper watches the work of your web browser and when it identifies a pop up window (or pop-under) it makes it invisible to you and then closes it. Occasionally you may see a window flash really fast before it is zapped. You can look at Pop-Up Zapper's counter on its Dock icon to see that it is working. Pop-Up Zapper 2.0 makes popup windows invisible to you and it requires Internet Explorer. Play a user or system sound when a window is zapped. You can add your own zap or allow locations.

What's new in this version:

When selecting Save As... Web Archive in IE, we were zapping the progress window.
Do the fake control click in IE only when IE is in front and don't move the mouse there. Some people launch IE in the background.
Wait a second before we start the control click so IE finishes loading.
Hide the context menu in IE the first time around, so people won't even notice it anymore.
Added a preference to not do the control click if people don't want it to be done... see all new features
